Common Pregnancy Symptoms

Any pregnancy is filled with aches, pains and strange sensations.

As an expectant mother, it is always worthwhile talking to a medical professional about your concerns and symptoms, but it is also valuable to realise that many sensations you will feel are perfectly normal and to be expected.

Here are some of the most common conditions that most mums-to-be will experience at some time through their pregnancies:

1. Morning Sickness

Whatever level of morning sickness you experience, it is regretfully normal. Ginger is a wonderful stomach soother, so make some hot tea with a couple of fresh slices and a teaspoon of honey. Peppermint and camomile teas are also soothing, and plenty of water is never a bad thing. 2. Energy Fluctuations

Strangely, it is the earliest stage of your baby’s growth that can sap your energy the most. Trying to push through can increase morning sickness as well as fatigue, listen to your body so embrace the siesta! Moving into your second trimester, you might find the opposite and your energy will peak. This may feel fantastic but be sure to manage it. You may think you can run a marathon with all this new energy, but just take it one step at a time. Over-exertion can have many negative impacts, so always take it easy.

3. Pregnancy Swelling

4. Round Ligament Pain

5. Running Out of Room
